It's a record.
Was going to post this on the Trotter forum, but these things tend to go off track:
A record for me at least because......come the stroke of midnight tonight I'll have been a Trotter supporter for (dare I say it?) "sixty years"! ( well, actually it won't be that till Boxing Day but tis my 68th birthday tommorrow)
Yes folks, my first match was at the age of eight and I've supported the Superwhites ever since. Never regretted a day of it although, over the years they've made me cheer and weep in equal doses. From Nat to Davo, embankment to East Lower, there's only ever been one team for me and ever will be. Hail to the Wanderers.

Really? Bloody hell, I've got you down as being in your mid fifties, and not as you are, a year older than my mum!TANGODANCER wrote:tis my 68th birthday tommorrow

Well I can only say that you're looking very well on it, Tango, and a heartfelt very many happy returns to you for tomorrow, fella. All the very best.

May the bridges I burn light your way

Thank you Bruce, and now you know the real reason I was a little slower round the Muni than you guys.Bruce Rioja wrote:Really? Bloody hell, I've got you down as being in your mid fifties, and not as you are, a year older than my mum!TANGODANCER wrote:tis my 68th birthday tommorrow![]()

Indeed CAPS indeed, it lasts a lifetime in the head, although the body is a little further ahead; about 32 maybe.CAPSLOCK wrote:I've only seen Tango the once and I'd have had him much younger, but then I guess you like me, are still about 25 in yer headBruce Rioja wrote:Really?
