When I was in America I had sandwich which I think was called Philly Cheese Steak, a sub with loads of steak, green peppers, onion and melted cheese, absolutely lush.

That's the correct name and available everywhere (not just Philadelphia). I like them too (along with many, many others - the poll was somewhat limited).

You know you are getting old when you keep repeating yourself. Sorry, TD, couldn't resist.

Not a big fan of the philly cheesesteak. I am a big fan of the chicken parm though. Or of course the Chic-Fil-A

When we went to Portugal we spent our first night in Porto. After the shenanigans down by the river, we made our way back towards our hotel. Earlier our cab driver had told us to go and eat at his cousin's restaurant and, if we were hungry, to order the 'Francesina'.

We found the place and duly ordered. What arrived was, essentiallly, a tower of bread slices with a different filling in between. There must have been (I was very drunk) 6 slices of bread interspersed with ham, egg, cheese, steak and a burger. This tower was wrapped in cheese slices and then covered in the kind of gravy you get on your meatballs in IKEA. All this was served with chips, too.

I fecking loved it!
