I said in an earlier post that NUFC is a car accident in Super Slo Mo. Well, it's now rolled onto its roof and large pieces are coming off.

We are just becoming the laughing stock the rest of the footballing world expected when we re-appointed KK. They all knew, as most of us know now, that it was a total nonsense.
Of course it is not all his fault but he cannot and will not turn it round. We would have been much better to stick with Allardyce than appoint Keegan. There was absolutely no danger of relegation under Sam - now we are in freefall with a manager seemingly clueless to stop it.
If we HAD to change (and did we have to??) it absolutely had to be for someone with the relevant experience. KK doesnt have that, as is now blindingly obvious.
We are deep in the sh*t.

I'll tell you what though. Looking at their run in, this was there best chance of getting a win, and at home too. I'm convinced that should we manage to get above them, that is how it will stay until the end of the season.marshall_42 wrote:although Jackburn just robbed a point off the barcodesmarshall_42 wrote:I'm not laughing til we get a few more points.....hisroyalgingerness wrote:what's making this all the better is that they wanted him

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I fail to see how where we are in the table is of any relevance whatsoever when it comes to having a good laugh at the circus that is Newcastle United, Tango. They've just got rid of a moderately successful manager and trumpeted in as the new messiah an absolute cartoon of a man that's failed in every appointment he's had. To hear him having gone from "we're going to win something at this club" to "40 points should keep us up" in a matter of days is, for me, a source of abundant hilarity. Where we are is not the issue for it is not we that are a bunch of deluded knobbers.TANGODANCER wrote:Forget laughing at em, leave em behind us. The first game of the season, even without KK, still hurts. Way thing are, they're still in the laughing chair as far as we stand. Let's do something about that, then laugh.
