My understanding is that all grounds have to bid for the Test matches, and that the Welsh Assembley granted money so that Sofia Gardens could host the Ashes. (It was in the Telegraph a good 18 months ago, explaining why OT wouldn't get one - hence why they started the work now).Bruce Rioja wrote:90-3![]()
