I was just thinking that. Aren't they also the club that had that complete cock in charge and parachuted Big Ron in to sort them out? Doesn't the cretinous Barry Fry have something to do with them also?Village_Idiot2 wrote:Hasn't Ferguson given them two promotions on the trot? Talk about ungrateful...

Fry's Director of Football. The owner is some self-made money man who obviously has some sort of God complex when his investments perform only so far. Maybe he thought that, because his club walked League Two and League One with the best budget in those divisions, he could walk the Championship with what's easily not the best budget. Or maybe he's just the sort of cock that thinks that success grows on trees in whatever league you play in. Modern Football Fan, in other words.
They were all (Ferguson, Fry and the money man) talking about promotion at the start of the season, which seemed as bonkers then as it does now. He does have a Mike-Ashley-ness about him, does the owner.KeeeeeeeBaaaaaaab wrote:Fry's Director of Football. Still, they were 10th in League Two when he took over. Incredibly harsh.
