United sack Fergie

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Hasn't Ferguson given them two promotions on the trot? Talk about ungrateful...

I was just thinking that. Aren't they also the club that had that complete cock in charge and parachuted Big Ron in to sort them out? Doesn't the cretinous Barry Fry have something to do with them also?
May the bridges I burn light your way

Fry's Director of Football. The owner is some self-made money man who obviously has some sort of God complex when his investments perform only so far. Maybe he thought that, because his club walked League Two and League One with the best budget in those divisions, he could walk the Championship with what's easily not the best budget. Or maybe he's just the sort of cock that thinks that success grows on trees in whatever league you play in. Modern Football Fan, in other words.

They were all (Ferguson, Fry and the money man) talking about promotion at the start of the season, which seemed as bonkers then as it does now. He does have a Mike-Ashley-ness about him, does the owner.

Still, they were 10th in League Two when he took over. Incredibly harsh.

Then we should nip in and take Boyd, McLean and Mackail-Smith, they're superb.

feck* joke. Total arsewipe of a team until he came along. He transformed the team gave the 2 promotions and this is his reward. Cock.

I hope they end up in the Conference.

I think Boyd is up there with the top scorers in the Division, he has took to the higher standard like a duck to water. I rate him.

Barry Fry says that Ferguson has been tapped up.

Who's clearing their desk then? Brownie? Blackwell? That fella who manages Reading?

Yes. Initial reports indicated a sacking due to results but it seems there's something afoot.

I love google live search facility.

If I type in "Darren Ferguson" the first option I get is "Darren Ferguson" and the 2nd "Darren Ferguson Wife beater".
