What are you eating and drinking tonight?

Enjoying a bottle of Entre-deux-Mers, with a touch of Brie and some Isle of Wight Blue cheese, bit of Serrano ham and olives. Very passable. I'm amazed you can still get half decent Bordeaux wine for a reasonable price (5er), its normally ludicrously overpriced.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Hope you enjoyed the cheese. The bloke that makes it (along with his wife) sells it on a stall on a sat market 'round the corner from me. I think it's realy nice. He's been trying to expand the business for quite a while so it's good to know you can buy it around the country. If I see him I'll let him know, you never know he might dish out some samples!!

The Missus is making a King Praw curry tonight. She's at the Gym after work, then making a start when she gets back.. Looking forward to it. I may make myself scarse and nip for a couple of pints while she's at it though... You know to get out of her way and that

That seems entirely reasonable - only get under her feet and all that...

Didn't get to the pub.. I got to the co-op though and bought some beers. Took them upstair and played on the Xbox. That's why she's marrying me, you see. I'm so considerate

Egg-Custard is one of those things that I detested in earlier life, yet have come to appreciate as an adult. Read also, olives as well as beer. :conf:

I have not yet grown up enough to like olives!

Tonight I had omlette and chips for tea. Two nights ago I was watching blazing brandy being poured down a kebab spike in the middle of our table, first for beef then pork, in a Turkish owned Spanish restaurant. Other nights, fish, mushrooms in Roqueforte sauce, fillet steak and Gazpacho Andalus whilst listening to a flamenco guitarist.. Good to be back. :(

Aye. Temp was never less than 80 even at night time. High nineties most days with just one part cloudy day in nine.
