Needed to finish one of his two golden chances.

That one was a little tougher.

Great as Petrov's goal was I'd rather Taylor took these FKs.

2-2 and an outstanding effort and will not complain about the result. We could have won the game, but Man U also had their chances. I think a draw is a fair result and I doubt Red Nose has a thing to complain about. We keep playing like that and we will be doing just fine this season.

A great all round team effort. Special mention to Knight, Elmander. Very happy with a point here.

I was fxxkin terrified but this was no fluke result. Elmander is finally becoming convinced he's good. Soooo close.

Great game, sorry if I've been a bit gloomy, was trying to keep expectations submerged!

United aren't what they were, they look distinctly vulnerable in midfield and defence and with better finishing we could have really given them a 'mare. Everyone ran themselves into the ground today, a performance to be proud of - COYW!

Elmander looked menacing, and Petrov showed us a few glimpses of what I believe is to come.

BTW anyone else do a HUH??? when Muamba was pulled with 30 odd minutes left in the game and the score 1-1? Either Coyle would rather lose trying or Muamba is very unfit lately.

I honestly believe he thought we were capable of holding them and put Davies on to try breaking through. Might be wrong, but that's how I saw it. We sure didn't play to lose.

Nah, thought that was a wise move as United were piling on subs and we needed fresh legs in midfield. Mavis also has a defter pass on him.

Proud of the boys tonight (here in Oz), but would've loved all 3 points. Well done team.

Coyle's positive mindset was behind the sub, it was the same against Villa. Mavies does give us more punch going forward, and looks wonderful running with the ball, of course that exposes our back 4 even more than they already are! Couldn't complain about down back much today, a couple of small mix ups but certainly didn't cost us.

Oh, and how about Elmander blazing over when he could have made it 3-1... what could have been. Ran himself into the ground, and looks very bullish running through defenders.

Happy, and in bed before 11pm!

great point. great performance 2nd half. is weird to see us going for it in these situations in the closing stages. nicer to watch than parking the bus on the 6 yard line if a little more dangerous.
