I thought District 9 was the best sci-fi film in years. Really enjoyed it. I think Will's over-analysis is a bit bollocks. But then, he'd maybe expect an essay from me to explain why I think it's bollocks.

So why did you ask for education if all you want is ticked boxes? You got em, be happy with that.

Makes me laugh too. However "Tuck in" is the finest line in the film for me.

What did you make of the film's depiction of Nigerians?
Nigerian people were outraged by it. Were they over-reacting?
In the options available for humans and prawns which are explored satisfactorily other than instinctive extreme violence? (Several are touched upon).
How thorough is the film in exploring political themes that it raises (such as medical experiments)?
Bloody teachers.

Can we have multiple choice?

Last week's episode of This Is England 86 tonight for me, missed it last week away on holiday - looking forward to it. I'm liking the piano music on the advert for it too and finally managed to track it down for a download!

Ill have a watch of Dispatches tonight as well: "What's The Point Of Unions" is the subject. Could be interesting seen as the Union I'm in is currently mobilizing for strikes and a "new winter of discontent". Just what I need...

A couple of Ludovico Einaudi tracks are used often in the film.. Is it one of these you downloaded? If so, I suggest you get your hands on some more of his stuff.. It's breathtaking.

Went to see his 'notebook' tour at the Bridgewater Hall earlier this year.. it was fantastic.

Also have a listen to Max Richter if you like the sound of Einaudi

I can gurantee that you've heard at least one of his tracks..
