I reckon it's a massive ploy, from Fergusson, which Rooney is in on, to get the Glazers to spend some money. Look, best player going to leave. Ambition. No players. We're knackered if he goes. MONEYYY ye wee bastards.
No?
Also, made me chuckle,
"Rooney is injured at the moment, after an accidental clash with Paul Scholes in training on Tuesday, and was not visible inside the stadium."

Well I actually meant that the whole Stretford going tits-up, but as clerics can't quite cope without people being gay it's unlikely I'll shake that image off.Montreal Wanderer wrote:Oh, and there was me thinking he was sick from an infection or having a C-Section.thebish wrote:Bobo has a boner for Rooney...
Either way, anyone who brings the House of Husher down could demand my "attention" and it'd get consideration.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Initially they had egg on thier face because as late as Sunday night they were still describing the story as 'absolute nonsense'. You're right though, since then the MU PR machine has gone into overdrive and Utd fans are slagging off Rooney. Odd really, given that his statement pretty much summed up what the yellow & green crew have been moaning about - i.e we're knackered financially!Gary the Enfield wrote:Would it be wrong of me to say I admire the way Ferguson and the Club have dealt with this? All speculation has been killed off and now Rooney will have to go where United say and not where he wants which gives United the control again. Forget who's involved here, the politics and power shifting is impressive to watch.
It would indeed seem true that no one player is bigger than United.

Apparantly, a group of 20+ blokes turned up at Rooneys house giving him death threats!! If he signs for City, he might die.. But those 'fans' might die from the heads and hearts exploding first! (hopefully)
This will really make him want to stay won't it?!

I heard the same thing happened to Ferdinand when the drugs thing was going on, and there was a bit of an altercation on his (probably rather large) lawn. Don't remember hearing about it in the press. Anyway, point I'm making is it won't necessarily push him out the door, but it can't help.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

Holloway is talking shite though, isn't he? Mortgages? No, players are more like renting a house, you don't get to keep it.
I now realise what it feels like to think like Ian Holloway.

Still finished is he, United fans?
He's obviously been given assurances that they'll be active in the transfer market....
Everyones saying to a City fan at work, that they're lining up a bid for Tevez.. She's cacking herself!
