Down to 10 men for half an hour, last few minutes and he makes up ground on 3 Blackburn players when he's not the favourite to smash it in the bottom corner.

As much as Mark Davies has done well, I think Muamba and Holden must now be reunited (well Mavies is suspended but after that as well) as they really do look good together!

His first half was a bit quiet, but the lad just makes things tick in our midfield. Him and Fabrice has to be the first choice partnership from now on. If Holden carries on like this, I'd expect 7-10 goals from him this season.

That is coming dragged up from a part of my brain that could just as equally be labelled 'in depth premier league rules' as 'made up sh*t'. It's 50-50. We shall see. Generally we go with Michael Bradley and a defensive midfielder, Maurice Edu or Ricardo Clark. A pairing of Bradley and Holden could work.

That said, after the World Cup I wouldn't bet money on Bob Bradley making intelligent selections.
