And what do we then do with Petrov? I'm assuming we're near to max budget in terms of wages, I'm sure the top boys wouldn't be too happy if he's spending good wages on a replacement for his big earning 'flop' of a signing*

Petrov just hasn't seemed on it since the game against Blackpool, which is a long time back now. I think he thought he would be picked every game

I think an out of contract player who's never played in this county isn't likely to be any better than Petrov in the short-term at least.

I would think that if there are no offers for Petrov, we will continue to play him in the hope he comes good a la Elmander.
