And what do we then do with Petrov? I'm assuming we're near to max budget in terms of wages, I'm sure the top boys wouldn't be too happy if he's spending good wages on a replacement for his big earning 'flop' of a signing*

Petrov just hasn't seemed on it since the game against Blackpool, which is a long time back now. I think he thought he would be picked every gameboltonboris wrote:And what do we then do with Petrov? I think an out of contract player who's never played in this county isn't likely to be any better than Petrov in the short-term at least.
I would think that if there are no offers for Petrov, we will continue to play him in the hope he comes good a la Elmander.

Wouldn't mind us going for that McEachran character on loan next season.
Creative, tenacious etc - he'll do nicely, Wilshere stylee

We're after the geezer who lasted one whole season at Sunderland and I seem to remember had a penchant for reds?

Players farther from what?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Doesn't really mention that he was at The Reebok for the Chelsea game and apart from the result is a bit of an admirer of Coyle's brand of football

He's not a bad player, but he's quite old now isn't he?
