I watched the highlights on ITV last night.

I've never heard such one-sided drivel as that from Jim Beglin. The other half actually barked up with "did he used to play for them or something".

The blatent handball by Picquionne was "clever" and the ref & linesman could never have seen it ... in effect a fair goal therefore, the (albeit slight) foul to get the penalty was "a dive ... blatent dive .... Parker never touched him (err ... yes he did Jim). The wall was a fould for the Stoke goal 9in fact yes, it was, but was it not "clever" James??). On & on & on it went.

Oh ... & Robert Green was unfortunate with the one he let squirm out of his hands. No he wasn't ..... it was another example of him being shite, you useless git.

He stopped short of saying that Stoke in the semi's over the football playing Spam is a clear travesty & maybe the authorities should do something. Just !

He must be up for a job at the Olympic Rip-Off Stadium I guess.

Oh and someone explain to me how "Scotty" Parker was man of the match? Gave a penalty away and blasted a shot 30 yards wide. They were his major contributions to a DEFEAT.

I get annoyed at West Ham fans too. This one West Ham fan on another forum is so arrogant. Always talking about how Stoke, Bolton, Birmingham and some others play "anti-football". And last time Stoke played Bolton he didn't fail to mention how boring they would be to watch (implying that it would be boring for everyone else). I hate West Ham and their fans!

The only way Matthew Upson should EVER have seen the inside of the England dressing room is if he'd been on a tour of the place, or way a tiler/painter & decorator.

A true 'player of the people', in that while he played the people were able to say "if he can get a game then there's hope for me".
