I think the argument is that they could have been higher with a more central location. I see the merit of the argument, but then you could equally argue that the Reebok has attracted a larger crowd from the West of Bolton and perhaps parts of Wigan, Chorley etc etc.

Traffic is a bitch though.

It is till you get on the motorway then its a breeze.

I can't imagine 20 thousand plus crowds in the centre of Bolton being any better in regards to traffic!

To be honest, despite the shenanigans with regards to directors not opening it to bidders, I think it was the easiest option for them to move it to Horwich. Burnden wasn't a big enough area to fit something the size of the Reebok on (with all the added infrastructure), and I know Caps mentioned the Greyhound track, but I don't think that was either.

I just wish they'd build another exit either further up Chorley New Road (where GM Waste used to be) or a direct slip road on to the motorway. The former is more achievable. Simply because, and I believe I've mentioned this before, the traffic is a bastard.

Cos its quickest way to get away? Unless you live in Horwich or WestHoughton or Lostock etc....

I got that pissed off with the traffic I've started using the bus service, for £1.50 return its great, but usually the missus drops me and the old man off, and we get the bus back for a quid
