Have we merged the Happy and Angry threads together?
Some people on this forum almost make me appear happy-go-lucky.

Being a Victor Meldrew is good for you. Some medical study proved it.
I think it was in the Daily Mail along with the proof that climate change isn't happening and the poll that says kids actually enjoy corporal punishment.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

I think it is true that you're more likely to get a serious illness from kissing a person than kissing a dog...Bruce Rioja wrote:After it's licked its own ringpiece? Nice!Gooner Girl wrote: I kiss Milo but we don't do tongues
(kissing dogs, though, is still gross! as is letting dogs in beds - letting them eat off your plate etc...)

I don't kiss him on the mouth or let him eat off my plate and he doesn't sleep on the bed at night. Mr GG lets him upstairs in the morning when he gets up and we have a little snuggle then (and he hogs all the duvet)thebish wrote:I think it is true that you're more likely to get a serious illness from kissing a person than kissing a dog...Bruce Rioja wrote:After it's licked its own ringpiece? I believe dog saliva has some anti bacterial properties.
I'm not taking the piss now either.

I was told by a doc its better to be bitten by a dog than a cat due to the bacterial issues.
Whats wrong with letting a dog lick a plate clean, saves on washing up!

My dog (proper 57) had his anal glands emptied once and yes the smell is something to behold!!

Going having a wander into town, seeing a friend I haven't seen in a while. I should explain that, as a redhead, sunshine and 20-degrees-plus temperatures don't agree with me. So this is the first time in a while that I've actually been out properly. Ergo, my happiness is twofold

Re: Today I'm happy about......
When I had an infected ingrowing toenail, the doc recommended that I get my dog to lick the affected area, to help the recovery process. Felt nice, and we've since embarked (woof) on a loving relationship.thebish wrote:there are several tales of dogs licking old ladies festering and infected sores back to health...
