I've got all the windows open to the vent bit here, but the temperature is dropping so low during the night that i'm finding myself waking up in the foetal position under the quilt.

May the bridges I burn light your way

We have a sweet emporium in Enfield Town called Ma Battley's (the website is down at the mo so I won't post the link) However, trust me when I say you can purchase ANYTHING sweet from our youth in there.
The Cigarettes are now candy sticks and the sweet tobacco has been renamed but you could still pretend.
Bullseyes, Army and Navy sweets, Caramel Nuts and Sweet Peanuts are in abundance. Flying Saucers, Liquorice (Whirls and Root), Spanish and Sugar Mice are mine whenever I want.
Upstairs they have a cafe which does Fish Fingers sandwiches (butties) on thick slices of Bloomer loaf.
Heaven is a shop in Enfield

Want a solution? nuke the feckin' lot of the wretches, problem solved, I'm sure we will work out a way to extract the oil by robotic means and terminate any residual life forms that survive.

Somebody using my name, email address and phone number to sign up to a load of unwanted sites, so that I get the nuisance texts and emails. I've got a pretty good idea who it is, and if I get any proof, he'll not be walking around anywhere for a while...

Wheras in North-East Wales they say ... quite knowingly ... "ears" when they mean "years". Now THAT is weird.Lofthouse Lower wrote:Guy at work pronounces 'ineligible' as 'illegible', which really grinds my gears
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
