Re: Ricardo Gardner
John Carew sued Fulham after Al-Fayed's doctor issued a press release stating that Carew's knee was so bad that they wouldn't get him through a game at all after he failed a medical at said doctors plush practice.. He took it to an arbitration hearing arguing that they'd damaged his earning potential. The court agreed from what I rememberDave Sutton's barnet wrote:Sorry Boris, you're going to have to use more words than that.boltonboris wrote:John Carew & FulhamDave Sutton's barnet wrote:If he didn't fail a medical and West Ham say he did, that's legally actionable - allowing that rumour to spread could affect his capacity to earn after this contract (eg in the MLS)
Edit:
Valencia also sued them for £8.5 Million after they'd all agreed a deal, then Fulham pulled out stating the reason was because of a failed medical.

In other news, Lindbergh has landed.
Not sure if it's out on DVD yet.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
