John Carew sued Fulham after Al-Fayed's doctor issued a press release stating that Carew's knee was so bad that they wouldn't get him through a game at all after he failed a medical at said doctors plush practice.. He took it to an arbitration hearing arguing that they'd damaged his earning potential. The court agreed from what I remember

Edit:

Valencia also sued them for £8.5 Million after they'd all agreed a deal, then Fulham pulled out stating the reason was because of a failed medical.

I'm Not too happy he's been released.

Glad he got to 400 appearances though.
