"Santa Cruz is a proven goalscorer"
"who the hell do u expect us sign if u think wer to good for santa cruz, were not real madrid or barcelona u know"
Looks like Gary Megson inhabits the Bolton Wanderers facebook page.

A big no thanks to Santa Cruz. Injury prone, doesn't score goals and is on 70,000 a week.
He had one great season at Blackburn, the only other time he's scored over 5 league goals in a season was in 1999. We'd be better off with DJ Campbell.

The newest main gimp is John Small, adamant that Eddie Davies is a 'greedy bastard' because he put 5% interest on that huge loan he gave us for the umpteenth time and claiming we should buy Santa Cruz because of that season he had 4 years ago.
I remember Heskey got 21 goals a little further back, I don't think anybody would describe him as a proven goalscorer.

I'm aware of all of them Tom. All are just a massive source of facepalm gold.

Santa Cruz, jesus Christ. Not a chance in hell we'll sign him unless he is a tissue match for Klasnic and can donate a spare kidney!

Manchester Evening News has us in for Barton.

I'll dance down Newport Street naked.
I'm quite looking foward to it actually.

They'll need something to draw a crowd now that they haven't got a team to put out.

Thank God they're gone ... Same goes for Batman & his so called brother Bruno !
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

As much as I'd like it to happen, if we sign Barton before a striker...I'll be shocked.Lord Kangana wrote:I'll dance down Newport Street naked.

Change 'shocked' to 'disgusted' and you'd be right.
Barton is no better than your Denilson.

It's the massive 190 mile long dual carriageway between Bolton and Newport.Gooner Girl wrote:(where is Newport street?!)
D'you not remember the protests when they built it a few yeas ago? That fella Swampy buried himself underground to try and prevent the Highways agency from building it. It was all over the news at the time.

I vaguely remember someone called swampy protesting about something but given it all happened 'up north' it may well have passed me by to a degree! Busy road then?!
