Is he right or left footed, I can't remember?

Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
Tuncay is a direct Elmander replacement, I'm happy enough with that. I'd of preferred someone quicker and a bit more prolific, but in fairness they tend to be a lot more expensive. MAybe we#ll get a quick kid in on loan as well...I'd also like to see him paired with the poacher Klasnic, rather than Davies. Always said that about Elmander as well.
The only other who may be worth a punt is Kalou at Chelsea, I'm guessing he's behind Sturridge, Elk, Drogba, Lakakawotsit and Torres?
SWP and Tuncay I'm a lot happier. Assuming we keep cahill of course....

Don't particularly want SWP now.
Would prefer (for example) N'gog or Jerome and a "Sturridge", or N'gog and Jerome. Or something.
Think Tuncay is more of an attacking midfielder/no10/triqerwhatever.

According to Nixon plan is Tuncay, SWP and NGog or another striker...that's the plan but making it happen harder as all will need to take wage cuts apparently.Lord Kangana wrote:Don't particularly want SWP now.

Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
Why dont you want SWP? Assuming we are sticking with 442, or even in a 451 we need a third wide man...SWP would actually be our best wide man I imagine if we signed him. He works hard (ergo offers cover to Steinsson), is quick, and is a useful premier league player. City fans have always taken to him. Granted Tuncay might be a number 10 or whatever but that doesn't solve the Chungy/right mid issue.Lord Kangana wrote:Don't particularly want SWP now.

I've heard N'gog isn't the quickest, he does seem to score though. Those three would be very good as far as I can see, would mean curtains for one of Davies/Klasnic potentially?

Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
I just think he's a bit of a one trick pony, that Tuncay is capable of playing there if need be, and he'll end up being a bit of a prima donna and a stone round our neck with a longish lucrative contract.
Thats all for now.

Tuncay is a superb bit of business. He never got a real run out at Stoke but under Coyle he will be unleashed. I have NEVER been happier with a signing. Great job OC. A full international who can play in the middle, either wing, or up front. Ideally is a AMC or "trequartista."
all hail Tuncay!!!

Nay, he hasn't, but the Oracle seems fairly certain it'll be signed and sealed before this weekend. Whether the work permit will keep up is another matter...BWFC_Insane wrote:He ain't signed yet!Holden midfielder wrote:Tuncay is a superb bit of business. And I'm sure that's true. But these things have a habit of changing rather rapidly. Hopefully he will sign as I think he will add something, but I'll wait for confirmation.truewhite15 wrote:Nay, he hasn't, but the Oracle seems fairly certain it'll be signed and sealed before this weekend. The Tuncay story now confirmed in a Mirror article. Hopefully he will have signed on loan before Saturday.

Bolton are bringing Turkish star Tuncay Sanli back to the Premier League.
Tuncay left Stoke in a £4.5million January move to play for Steve McClaren at German side Wolfsburg, but has fallen out with McClaren's replacement, Felix Magath.
He is set to join Owen Coyle's men on loan with a view to a permanent £3million deal, and could be in the Bolton line-up for the season opener at QPR on Saturday.
Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.

SWP has been on Stoke's radar for over year. Tuncay will be our talisman if he signs and the final piece of the puzzle. At the front of a diamond in a 4-4-2 or playing off Davies in a 4-4-1-1. If OC really feels inspired put him in the middle of a 4-2-3-1. Tuncay will be a game changer tactically and technically. OC will appreciate all this and free him of the stigma he acquired trapped in Pulis's 4-4-2 "cage."
