Course, we've replaced the toxic atmosphere of the Megson days with complete apathy. People turning up, convinced we're going to get beat, nothing to cheer because we're shit, nothing to boo because we like the manager. I'm not sure which is worse.

Having watched Bolton a fair few times over the last 2 years, and as a Wednesday fan, having watched the Owls almost every week I can conclude the following:

Megson is a Wednesday legend - we love him. He has come in and made us a strong, fighting team that is hard to beat and great at set pieces. We play some attractive football, but mostly effective, grinding football, designed to win.
Because of the recent success and his links to the club, we all feel good about him and this has developed a good atmosphere at the club or the first time in years.
When at Bolton he was hated straight away, despite his achievements (and before you interject, I refuse to believe he didn't achieve some good things with you). But because he was not popular there was a negative vibe at the club and you all longed to see the back of him.


Coyle: A Wanderers legend - because of his status many of you overlook his inability as Manager. Last season you ended very poorly and this spilled

Two goals in injury time saw Walsall come from behind to claim a dramatic victory against Sheffield Wednesday.

Ryan Lowe had put the Owls ahead when he headed in from Chris Lines's cross, only a minute after Walsall's Alex Nicholls had hit the Wednesday bar.

The Saddlers, who had not won in their last eight league matches, equalised in the 91st minute through Claude Gnakpa's deflected 25-yard effort.

Emmanuele Smith grabbed the winner when he shot low past Richard O'Donnell.
