I hope you held it upside down !!thebish wrote:errr...Burnden Paddock wrote: I knew that I was inviting trouble when I typed the word breasts.I do hope that you had to google that pic and it wasn't in your 'collection'.
I may have carved out some time to make it myself... (catching the duck was a bugger though!)
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

And very bloody good it was too!Annoyed Grunt wrote:Just been informed we're off there tomorrow.Bijou Bob wrote:Just got in from Sokrates - another excellent do. £220 for 9 of us and we're all stuffed. My only beef is that the house red is a tad dry and lifeless. Another top night and well worth a go IMO.

Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?
Had a very, very good take away curry for two tonight:
Chicken Jalfrezi
Chicken Tikka Masala
Vegetable Curry
Pilau Rice
Naan Bread.
All for £6.50.
The surprising bit - in a bag from Tesco.

Tesco you say? I got one from Asda once which was shite to the power of 6 (at least) so I've never bothered with any of them since. Was there plenty?

There was plenty of food for one. In fact I had enough for another meal left over - just need another naan.
To be honest - it was as good as any take away I've had.
Give it a go. You can get individual curries/bread/starters etc and make your own meal if you want.
I do not work for Tesco.

Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?
This weekend was woman's 21st. Had such an amazing weekend. She had a great time, and she was absolutely spoiled by her family and friends. Why then, you ask, is this in the What are you eating and drinking tonight? thread?
Well, for her tea, on Saturday night, we went to the Michelin starred Butcher's Arms, just outside Gloucester. Oh my word. The best food I have ever even been in the same room as. I had Scallops and Pork Belly to start with. Was unsure before but jesus it was heaven. Main of Duck with Parsnip puree, some rhubarb stuff and potato gallette (a massive ready salted crisp), was amazing. Finished with Seville Orange Marmalade pudding with Drambuie custard. Oh my days.
Seriously, if you are ever even nearly in that neck of the woods, go, go, go.
And if you are wondering what I was doing down that way on Saturday, well it wasn't my fault!
Here is a pic of us pre-meal (for which I got in trouble, coz whilst she is looking at the camera, I MAY be watching ESPN ten yards behind and to the right of the camera. Oooops)

In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Break the meringue into small pieces and stir in

Oh, and you'll need to think on that you're dealing with northern blokes here - we don't do ramekins - replace with "Ladle into bloody big bowls"
