It's so frustrating when your manager is holding the players back through ineptitude.Hoboh wrote:Reverting back to type again Coyle? Kevin feckin Davies on, Moo off, 4-4-2 and loose oh Coyle I so wanted to believe you'd learned, prick!
There was a point on offer today simply by seeing out the game, perhaps even nicking it off a set piece late on.
There was absolutely no logic to change that. None at all. And you could see it happening as soon as he did, as every fooker said on here.

Perhaps you could explain why we changed system and what effect it had? Rather than resorting to abuse. Debate.....

Coyle fecked this game up, Petrov was having a bad day he could have stuck Haggler out wide, he's two footed and fast which against a makeshift defence as they had would have worried them more than a carthorse!

Re: Owen Coyle
Two centre halves come off and they stick a short arse in there instead, which cries out for Davies to be brought on. Davies comes on to cause problems and win headers, which he did. It was a gamble that didn't pay off.Hoboh wrote:Go dunk your head, your meaningfull comment all afternoon was to have a go at a ten min sub!Gail Platz wrote:Here we go again. Re: Owen Coyle
If Davies headers went any where meaningful it would be ok but he is a feckin carthorse and lumping everything to him ain't worked all year so why revert to type? 4-4-2 only works with better players than we can affordGail Platz wrote:Two centre halves come off and they stick a short arse in there instead, which cries out for Davies to be brought on. 1) therefore a gamble that backfired, so a bad mistake.Gail Platz wrote:Two centre halves come off and they stick a short arse in there instead, which cries out for Davies to be brought on. 2) Davies could have come on without a system change.
3) he didn't cause any problems, we looked better before he came on. Far better.
4) a point would have kept the momentum going and been a good result, no need to fooking gamble from that position away from home!

Re: Owen Coyle
If you've seen my posts this season I'm probably the most anti-Davies person on here but for me it made sense to bring him on. As I say it was a gamble to take Muamba off and if anything, I'd probably rather have seen Ngog taken off and if nothing was happening still, take off a midfielder for Sordell later on in the game.Hoboh wrote:

Re: Owen Coyle
A manager lives and dies by his substitutions taking Muamba off was a costly mistake unfortunately it's one he has made too often the lad's game is to break up play which he usually does quite well.Maybe not glamorous enough for Coyle's mindset of attractive attacking free flowing football.
Re: Owen Coyle
Fecking twonk. Utterly his fault, despite Lee Mack making a f*ck up. Wants 'Unless we're losing, or one of them is dead, do not break up Coker and Moo' tattoing on his forehead. Pure ineptitude, and 99% of Bolton fans watching knew it.

I think I'd leave them on even if they were .... tell 'em it's just a flesh-wound or something.Prufrock wrote:Fecking twonk. Utterly his fault, despite Lee Mack making a f*ck up. It is staggering & utterly beyond belief that he does this.
Honestly it's his "take off Klas, bring on McCann" moment.
It's not just what Moo does, but what that allows others to do. Is this rocket science ??
Fckg, fckg, fckg wanker Coyle.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Haggler ha! should of come on earlier instead of K Davies, davo just hasn't got anything going for him anymore coyle needs a wake up call!Hoboh wrote:See not hard when you think is it?Gail Platz wrote:If you've seen my posts this season I'm probably the most anti-Davies person on here but for me it made sense to bring him on. Re: Owen Coyle
If it's not happening up front change it up front don't feck about with the midfield It's this constant substitution of Muamba that's cost us points this season a lesson Coyle seems incapable of learning.

Re: Owen Coyle
or if you must go 442 take off the midfielder who cant play 442
Time after time after time
What feck* me off even more is we still tried to play it through midfield - we didnt even use davies for the job he came on for!
pillock!

Well can you see us actually training to play a formation that has us running onto knockdowns from Davo?officer_dibble wrote:or if you must go 442 take off the midfielder who cant play 442

Almost the world's most pointless substitution.
