Circular logic there surely boltonboris? :conf:
Reading back, it doesn't make much sense. What I meant was with a 4-5-1, we're more likely to have the ball because we'll have more chance of getting the thing off of the opposition.

Then with the three bodies in the centre we can pop it around looking for openings, when we get the openings, Sparky can get up and support N'gog..

How about this:
Bogdan
.........
Mears
Ream
Wheater
Ricketts
.........
Ryodhino
Eagles
NRC
Petrov
.........
Klasnic
Sordell

What was wrong with 4-4-2 earlier in the season was the team playing it. maybe a light seasoning of talent will transform the side.

I thought Muamba was injured.
A midfield with Ryodhino and Petrov on the wings, what's wrong with that in theory?

That set-up wouldn't do a job against Oldham Athletic never mind Wiggin.

That's harsh. For me he does good on the wing.

Assuming Ream is ok to put straight in to the XI.
Has Klasnic found out whether he can be arsed yet?
I have no idea about either Sordell or Ryo.
That formation, carrying the Klas-meister doesn't fill be with joy.

To tell you the truth Armchair, that's my problem. You can perm any set into any formation, and this squad does not fill me with joy. But I, like everybody else has an opinion about various players, and mine is I'd prefer to see Ivan than David. I'm just hoping (actually, really praying) that Ryo, Ream, and Sordell are shit hot, so the team can be built around them.

They might be but even so you still need a couple of players capable of winning the ball before your attackers can do anything.eagles does a reasonable job on the wing and tracks back a bit but would be less effective than M Davis in central midfield IMo.You cant really assume that just because its wigan we dont need some ball winners. They're not totally hopeless.

Ny the way. How's the dwarf basketball team project progressing?

OK then
revised team
Bogdan
.........
Mears
Ream
Wheater
Ricketts
.........
Ryodhino
Mavis
perm 2 out of 3 NRC or Muamba or Petrov
.........
Klasnic
Sordell

Is that more to people's tastes [with the obvious rather large assumption that'll it'll be 442]?
