I'll go with putting a gin and tonic in his hand.
Connelly probably just stuck a red nose on him and took a photo. Amazing foresight that lad.

Re: Mark Connolly
I'm hoping it was something bloody serious for that reaction.
You know, like stubbing a cigar out on him, or waking him up with a 5 iron, or maybe refusing to warm up to go on.
Otherwise it's somewhat "cutting your nose off to spite your face" except it's the club's face, not his own.
All that said, if he were being shunted out to a premiership team, or leading Champ we may feel he's a loss.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Probably tattood an arse on his elbow. Coyle has been baffled ever since.

And you can't be pretend to be best mates with your subordinates, as is Coyle's way, then act like a bitch when a practical joke is played on you. He sounds like a right nice person, TBH. Happy people: can't trust them. If you're not depressed in this life you're either shallow, stupid, or fake; Happy-Clappy-Coyle seems to have least two of those traits.
Anyway, back to my deep, dark pit of misery and self-loathing.

That's my favourite post ever, I think. Outstanding misanthropy Spongers!
