Looking at the fixtures you would have to fancy us & Wolves (IMO QPR & B/burn have difficult run ins especially QPR) - therefore if we can't win 5 games out of our remaining fixtures then we fully deserve to go down and Coyle deserves to be sacked.

Saying that, winning 5 out of 11 against any opposition with this shower of shite somehow seems a very tall order
That sort of form over a season would probably get you into a European spot of some description.

We seem to be a

way off that sort of form...

Wolves look pants at the back but quick going forward at times.

We look pants at the back and pants going forwards :-S

That Pogrebnyak at Fukham, scored 3 in three, didn't Megson try to sign him?

Looks like he'd have been the sort of player to sign to make an impact and help keep us up, and wasn't he free and has only signed till the end of the season?

Instead we spent money on a youngster who has barely played a minute, at a time we desperately need an impact from someone.

Fairly sure we were linked with him at some point - although I can't recall who or when. Mind you turning down Modric because "he might be a bit lightweight" probably isn't looking like the best assessment of a player I've ever seen.

Another defining weekend next weekend in ther fight for survival with Wolves v Blackburn and us a QPR. Fulham winning 5 - 0 now so we've almost got GD parity with Wolves which could make the difference at the end of the season.

fairly unrelenting in your criticism of Coyle aren't you?
ever considered the likelihood that a spell in West London might have appeared a better prospect for the Russian?

I didn't read that as a "Coyle was wrong not to sign Pogrebnyak" comment, rather that with our limited funds, and our league position, maybe spending the dough we did have on someone with a bit of experience might have been a better idea?

We have currently spent £7.5m on two strikers this year (so not far off what our previous Manager spent on one), they've got 2 goals between them (albeit Sordell has only been here about as long as Pogrebnynyak has been at Fulham)

read it again.
the suggestion that because he was a free and therefore up for grabs is linked to Coyle's perceived profligacy in signing Sordell.
the word "instead" links the two otherwise unrelated statements.

I readed it again.

It says (to me) that he was the sort of player we should have tried to sign (rather than the actual player we should have signed) [as opposed to a 17 year old with no Prem experience]

"sort of player" means bollox! only actual players can be judged!

What are you on about?

I was asked why I thought BWFCI hadn't said "we should have signed Pogrebnyak instead of Sordell", I responded that he hadn't said that, but rather that we should have signed someone like Pogrebnyak instead of Sordell. Someone like could ACTUALLY have been Pogrebnyak, but then again it could have been some other player that was a similar SORT OF PLAYER as Pogrebnyak.

It's not that difficult for a bright chap like yourself to follow.

Good so you agree with me then. That's fine.
