I just think there would no greater tribute than to turn up, sing, do what you want to do on the day, make a banner , maybe the club could make it a family day where your kids go free or something....we're a family club, he's a family man, lets make it a family day in his honour and just let our love for him & the club be apparent from the supporters' own emotions.

People will be cautious of buying tickets for a few days though while it's uncertain whether the match would be played.

i really dont think we should be worrying about attendances as an issue...what would be a 'disgrace' is to assume that people somehow dont care about the young man's life if they don't or can't change all existing plans to attend the match and wear a t-shirt or hold a banner. Those who will be there will represent in person the thoughts and feelings of everyone who cares, thats all that matters.

The guy I emailed said they will be able to do a tribute for Saturday but I will email to say we have had a change of heart due to the situation but we will keep them in mind if we decide to do it at a later date. Is that the consensus?

listen theres not much i can do from here (plymouth) i would love to attend but can't due to various reasons

so all i can do is keep my fingers crossed and if we decide to do something i will be more than happy to donate

just an idea what if we chuck in for a shirt(s) and someone buy it and sign it(with messages) on behalf of the people who put some cash in obviously it would have to be someone from around the bolton area so they can drop it off at the reebok
