Very true... put the right amount in and you have this lovely sweet flavouring for a fish paella... The only time I use saffron is with fish and rice... And would miss it if I didn't use... Must remember to smell the piss next time...

:D They're so small nowadays - you can eat them in about 2 bites. Am sure when i was a kid they were a. bigger and b. not so expensive.

as long as you're taking fluids (preferably non-alcoholic give your lack of food!) - you'll be fine!

I'm drinking orange juice. I've defrosted some smoked salmon which I could do with eggs, and I've got a million crumpets (well, 12) I'm just not hungry.
