Put a bit too m uch in & you'll know. It'll taste like you're eating metal.Bruce Rioja wrote:Saffron's wasted on me. I can't tell whether it's in there or it isn't.William the White wrote:I like saffron...Lord Kangana wrote:Saffron makes your piss stink like saffron.
Which is great if you like saffron.
If you are just using it for the yellow colouring then try tumeric instead. Just as yellowinng & about 0.1% of the price.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Very true... put the right amount in and you have this lovely sweet flavouring for a fish paella... The only time I use saffron is with fish and rice... And would miss it if I didn't use... Must remember to smell the piss next time...bobo the clown wrote:Put a bit too m uch in & you'll know. It'll taste like you're eating metal.Bruce Rioja wrote:Saffron's wasted on me. I'm drinking orange juice. I've defrosted some smoked salmon which I could do with eggs, and I've got a million crumpets (well, 12) I'm just not hungry.thebish wrote:

After Mrs BP took pity on me and made tea, I am now about to scoff one of her home made jam and cream scones.
