'Further enhance', Bobo. ;)

And if I were ever to appear on Danny Baker's Sausage Sandwich Game then I'd have to reply "No sauce at all" being as English Mustard isn't an option.
The Sausage Sandwich game only identifies sauces by colour. Now we all know which particular sauces he means, however I have both red and brown chilli sauces, both of which I put on sausage sandwiches. If I wanted to answer honestly, should I pick one of them (normally a brown one at the moment - Psycho Monkey sauce, if you're interested - http://www.spicymonkey.co.uk/#/shop/456 ... ce/1165125" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - very pleasant, but not as hot as they're trying to make out on that website)? Or say "no sauce at all", as it's not the red or brown sauce Danny is implying?

Dear me - forget any other debates that may have occurred here (politics, religion, managers...), you really are going to open a can of worms with that...

I don't think I have ever eaten tofu... have you done a peer-reviewed bacon-with-worms/tofu scientasmalogical taste test?

if not - whence your certainty?

I have eaten tofu. My certainty comes from that.

I haven't tried a double-blind taste test. Whilst, in principle, you may have a point, in practice, for these sorts of things, it would be impractical.

Just eat some tofu. You'd agree with me then. If you have no tofu to hand, eat a cardboard box. It tastes much the same.

No - I'm not a vegetarian.

I did once try to invade Russia over winter, but I still maintain that was immitating Napoleon.

Things rarely are as hot as they're claimed to be, with the notable exception of this rascal. I don't know if they still make it, but bloody hell - it's hot! Image

Some are, though.
This for instance:
http://www.chillipepperpete.com/product ... 100ml.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And, from the same people, this:
http://www.chillipepperpete.com/product ... _55ml.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Handle with care. As they say.

They look evil!!!

Have you ever tried Quorn sausages, Puskas? If they were the only sausages available to man then my answer to Danny's question would be "Red sauce AND brown sauce, but no sausages at all".

Vile stuff!

I did mention this at the time. I mean

1) Coffee
2) Mustard on bacon sarnie
3) Jeremy Kyle

Wrong, just plain wrong. :mrgreen:

Never tried Quorn ones.

I have in the freezer (left over from a BBQ a few weeks ago) some Cauldron veggie sausages. To be honest, they don't really taste of much. Smother them with sauce, and, to go back to your point, you may as well be eating no sausages at all.

I figure that whilst sausages are being discussed and which ones to avoid, I should draw attention to the german white boiled sausage.

I only once experienced these, on the way home after a few days at the Oktoberfest.

Skint, and hungry, the morning after, I coppered up (or pfenniged up at the time), whilst sat in the Hofbrauhaus to see what could cure the "night out drinking". And there I spied Weißwurst. Great! that'll sort me out, thinks I.

My little delicacy came in a tureen about 5 foot tall, with hindsight, I think I could hear sniggering in the background. "Fcuk", thinks I, "I'll be stuffed to the gills" only to tip the lid off expectantly, to see one white sausage floating like some anaemic turd in lukewarm water.

To assist in your understanding of this, I attach the following picture:

I like a bit of white sausage.

And straight off for a Cardinal Chunder. :lol:

They eat some bloody rotten nosebag, the Krauts. I always end up living on Wienerschnitzel for the week when I'm there, so as to remove any unpleasant surprise possibilities :D

I suppose now wouldn't be the time to admit to a liking to Haggis aswell then? Black pudding? Offal?
