Saw a tweet (yes its that desperate) that us and Blackburn are after Josh Mceachran on loan
Re: Jaffka's gossip thread on the ins and outs at the 'Bok
It seems several lifitimes ago that this thread became known for its ability to wander off-topic. So. as feck all is happening on the transfer / loan front I tried to come up with a chant for our new hat trick hero. The easiest is to adapt the Soopa, Soopa Kev one and stick in Obi, Obi Wan. However I can't get the Hokey Cokey tune out of my head as it goes so well
Oh Obi Wan Afobe
Oh Obi Wan Afobe
Oh Obi Wan Afobe
.......
And that's where the problem lies... that damned last line
Best I can come up with is "gets ball scores a goal clap clap clap" and yes, I know thats crap crap crap so anyone got any better ideas? (other than that I need treatment for some sort of mental disorder).
And, to divert the thread still further, how does a new chant get started? I'll join in with a chant all day long but start a new one? - no way - far too embarrassing being stood there like a spare part waiting for someone (anyone) to join in.

If we draw Arsenal in the cup, the last line could be ''you can't have him back, back, back''
Re: Jaffka's gossip thread on the ins and outs at the 'Bok

give it a few games to get past the flash-in-the-pan start - and your own inadvertent suggestion will suffice...Bruno3 wrote:It seems several lifitimes ago that this thread became known for its ability to wander off-topic. Very good, ever ... anyone ... any level ... getting a hat-trick. But who recalls the furore about Miyachii and how he was going to be our player of the year in some people's eyes, after about 3 games ?
Well done to the lad & I hope it continues, but I'd take Sturridge again before him.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

He's not what we're after. We need somebody solid. McEacheron(sp) has the build of a 12 year old girl

He may have the body of a weak and feeble woman, but he has the heart and stomach of a concrete elephant.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

You've kind of spoiled the moment there Bruce, as you were meant to say "prove it".

Someone's suggesting Frimpong but apparently he's a fitness doubt aftre his injury. It's getting a bit panic stations now. Also looks like Rhodes is off to the Dingles for a shed load of money
Pfffft.
