If he can mark somebody and pass 5 yards I'd give take him now on a 29 year contract

he's certainly a looker...

Re: Jaffka's gossip thread on the ins and outs at the 'Bok
this alleged "have a chelsea player on loan whenever you want in return for selling us Cahill" - is that actually true?
Re: Jaffka's gossip thread on the ins and outs at the 'Bok
I have a slight fear now that when (if?) Holden ever makes a return there will be so much pressure heaped on his shoulders that he will buckle under the sheer weight of it...
(I put this here because it is bound to be "like signing a new player"!)

Yes, but it has to be one they are prepared to loan and one who wants to drop down a league......thebish wrote:this alleged "have a chelsea player on loan whenever you want in return for selling us Cahill" - is that actually true?
Apparently we were waiting till we "were promoted" to get a "better quality one next season"

He's not black though.. Nor is he big.
It's obvious to everyone that we need a big black guy to babysit our defence.

You mean like presuming Ed in Withnail and I. Now that I would like to see.boltonboris wrote:He's not black though.. Nor is he big.

Ugly is good, far too pretty without wheater on the team.A nasty dirty knuckledragger might just fire up the fans and his team mates.
I hate Joey Barton but maybe someone like that would make a difference. They seem happy to sleep through games and collect a nice wedge at present.

That'd be brilliant. He could just sit there spinning a football whilst constantly saying "Hare Rama".Ianmooreslovechild wrote:

And he could medicine opponents a treat. Might even get some speed for Mavis and KD sort their weight out,get Zat off the Mary Joanna and owen off the ecstacy. Find something more appropriate for the lads.Bruce Rioja wrote:That'd be brilliant. He could just sit there spinning a football whilst constantly saying "Hare Rama".Ianmooreslovechild wrote:

Thing with spearing is he played 25 times for liverpool last season. They might think he's garbage, but I suspect he'll fancy his chances of premiership footie this season. Its another pissing in the wind job and further example to the fact coyle has no scouting network.

So you're criticising Coyle now for actually trying for a Defensive Midfielder with decent Premier League experience???
Come on now..
I agree the guy's a numpty, but this could be a good move if we pull it off and if you don't ask, you don't get.

I'd say so, from what I've seen. Sits in front of the back 4 and grafts. Which is what we need. Balls to 'quality'. all he needs to be able to do is get it off the feck* we're playing against and pass it 5 yards.

Sounds fine to me. Can't say I noticed him much before, so wasn't sure the role he played.boltonboris wrote:I'd say so, from what I've seen. Sits in front of the back 4 and grafts. From what I've seen of him he's more tigerish than toothless-tigerish. Certainly more so than anything we've currently got in midfield.

So we haven't asked them for Lucas yet?
Booo Owen out!

Re: Jaffka's gossip thread on the ins and outs at the 'Bok
Personally I think he's useless and was only picked by Dalglish because of where he was born and/or Lucas was injured and they had no-one else.
Liverpool supporting mates can't wait to get shot of him either.

Can he run? Does he have any energy? Can he tackle? Does he get "involved"?Athers wrote:Personally I think he's useless and was only picked by Dalglish because of where he was born and/or Lucas was injured and they had no-one else.

If so he'll be an improvement on what we have in the centre of midfield.
