Had a couple of indifferent ones, but mostly very positive.

My co-writer, of course, would claim the credit for this!

Just finished 'Dead Man Running' - think someone has mentioned it on here before. About a bloke from Farnworth who suffered an abusive childhood, became an alcoholic then at 54 started running and completed the Atacama ultra marathon 3 years later. If you can get past the spelling mistakes (nobody could have proof read it) there's a really good story in there. As well as all the familiar pubs & places he refers to he's a big Wanderers fan too. 7/10

Just finished "Good Morning Nantwich !" .... Phill Jupitus' autobiog, focusing on his opening of Radio 6.

An interesting read.

Now giving Bill Bryson's "Down Under" a re-read about 10years on. Always a great read is Mr B.

You should have said. For some unknown reason, Mrs H got me this for Christmas. I can't stand the bloke, so subsequently haven't even turned the first page. Needless to say she didn't keep the receipt.
