Discovered today that the navigation bit of Google Maps now works here, I might now get a bit less lost as I have a crap sense of direction

You need a compass.

The roads lack logic and have the craziest spaghetti junctions going. Miss your turn off and it is often a 40km round trip to get back to the right junction! A compass would not help someone as directionally challenged as I
