One christmas my cat was in the lounge on his own while we were having dinner. When we came back in Stuart Little had come on and he was doing similar infront of the TV. Cats are ace!thebish wrote:Prufrock wrote:Cat confused by Assassin's Creed. LOOOL.

Ours used to be fascinated with snooker balls and pawed the screen every time one moved. Never bothered with anything else, just snooker.Gary the Enfield wrote:My cats try and paw the ball if I'm watching football.Daft.

When we were kids, my brothers and I used to enjoy little more than placing our then young cat on our mother's dressing table and watch him chase his own reflection around the back of the mirror, breaking off only to try and nice person himself

May the bridges I burn light your way

Only way you could "do" the book would to as a mini series.jaffka wrote:I have read that book and will prob watch the film but I am disappointed with how the trailer looks compared to the book.clapton is god wrote:Trailer for World War Z due next year:

Film looks fairly decent.

Re: The Official You Tube/weird world thread.
TV has done several mini-series on popular works because the content was too great for a one film sitting. The current Harfields and MaCoys just one example. Ivanhoe and Pride and Prejudice also worked better that way.jaffka wrote:How does that work thenAnnoyed Grunt wrote:Only way you could "do" the book would to as a mini series.jaffka wrote:I have read that book and will prob watch the film but I am disappointed with how the trailer looks compared to the book.clapton is god wrote:Trailer for World War Z due next year:

I have read it along with other books with far greater content which have been made into films that follow the book, so once again how does that work then?

Who knows....we're not film execs.jaffka wrote:I have read it along with other books with far greater content which have been made into films that follow the book, so once again how does that work then?
I think it would work better as a tv series...like Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead is greatAnnoyed Grunt wrote:Who knows....we're not film execs.jaffka wrote:I have read it along with other books with far greater content which have been made into films that follow the book, so once again how does that work then?

World War Z if you have ever read it is one book which in my opinion lacks the depth and content to have a series based on it.

I read it on holiday this year....I would disagree with you.....not for the first timejaffka wrote:The Walking Dead is greatAnnoyed Grunt wrote:Who knows....we're not film execs.jaffka wrote:I have read it along with other books with far greater content which have been made into films that follow the book, so once again how does that work then?
I think it would work better as a tv series...like Walking Dead. That comes from a comic series with the same name and has been going for years which is why it is perfect for a series.

The zombies in the book are slow and shambling like in the George Romero classics, they dont look like that on the trailer.
