One christmas my cat was in the lounge on his own while we were having dinner. When we came back in Stuart Little had come on and he was doing similar infront of the TV. Cats are ace!

My cats try and paw the ball if I'm watching football.

Daft.

Ours used to be fascinated with snooker balls and pawed the screen every time one moved. Never bothered with anything else, just snooker.

When we were kids, my brothers and I used to enjoy little more than placing our then young cat on our mother's dressing table and watch him chase his own reflection around the back of the mirror, breaking off only to try and nice person himself :D
May the bridges I burn light your way

Only way you could "do" the book would to as a mini series.

Film looks fairly decent.

How does that work then :conf:

I know someone who is an extra in the film and he raves about it.

TV has done several mini-series on popular works because the content was too great for a one film sitting. The current Harfields and MaCoys just one example. Ivanhoe and Pride and Prejudice also worked better that way.

I have read it along with other books with far greater content which have been made into films that follow the book, so once again how does that work then?

Who knows....we're not film execs.

I think it would work better as a tv series...like Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead is great 8) That comes from a comic series with the same name and has been going for years which is why it is perfect for a series.

World War Z if you have ever read it is one book which in my opinion lacks the depth and content to have a series based on it.

I have read a couple of times on my ereader, I posted at the time once in the reading tonight thread.

The zombies in the book are slow and shambling like in the George Romero classics, they dont look like that on the trailer.
