Freedman has done nothing wrong, he has to sort out this mess that Coyle has made.Martin_Cruise wrote:It's already looking as though Freedman shouldn't have been appointed.

That's too simplistic, I think. We have good players but that isn't the only thing you need to create a good team. The ability of players like Mark Davies, Eagles, Petrov, Ricketts, Chungy etc., is amongst the best in the league. We have Bogdan, Ream, Ricketts, Chungy and Petrov who are all international regulars, for f*cks sake. They aren't bad players.DJBlu wrote:But it is. That's the trouble.SmokinFrazier wrote:The team Coyle built isn't a bad one, as Freedman has mentioned many times. The selection today is absurd and can't be pinned on Coyle.
If they were good enough we would get results.
The problem is a lack of confidence, poor tactics and poor selection. We have Spearing on the bench and play Ream instead, despite Spearing being one of our best players and Ream being a defender. That makes no sense at all, not to mention picking the abysmal Afobe over Chungy.

He hasn't shown any sign of sorting anything though. And there was nothing on his CV to indicate he would. That's the problem.adamworthy2002 wrote:Freedman has done nothing wrong, he has to sort out this mess that Coyle has made.Martin_Cruise wrote:It's already looking as though Freedman shouldn't have been appointed.

Re: Sussex by the sea!
Well, I'm not going to do a BL3 & go on the attack, but if Freedman thinks this is our best starting line up then I am concerned !
Bogdan, Mears, Mills, Knight, Warnock, Ream, M Davies, Afobe, Pratley, Eagles, Ngog
Subs: Lynch, Andrews, K Davies, Ricketts, Spearing, Chung-Yong, Butterfield
Mears instead of Ricketts ?
Afobe ... at all, ffs ?
Pratley & or Ream instead of Spearing ?
No Petrov again ... not even on the bench ?? So last week's explanation was complete bllx.
Of course, we don't know what niggles & fitness & tactics are involved, but c'mon !!!

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

He can't really do anything until January, we look alot better than we did under Coyle but unfortunately the players still aren't good enough.Martin_Cruise wrote:He hasn't shown any sign of sorting anything though. And there was nothing on his CV to indicate he would. That's the problem.adamworthy2002 wrote:Freedman has done nothing wrong, he has to sort out this mess that Coyle has made.Martin_Cruise wrote:It's already looking as though Freedman shouldn't have been appointed.
