I remember us playing Sunnerlann in the third round in 83/84. They brought millions along and dicked us 3-0. I may well be wrong here but memory tells me that they had a blonde haired lad up top that got all three (Ashworth? Ashcroft?)

Remember that game. I had an idea it was Lee Chapman who scored at least 1 for em but was a looong time ago.

O'Neil warned his team yesterday that they're in a relegation battle so I imagine he's going to see this game as an inconvenience and put out a heavily weakened team. So I reckon we could be in with a good shout.

See, I hold exactly the opposite view. Overall,I love the earlier rounds with all the romance of it and the giant-killings. I lose interest as the competition worms its way to the inevitable pairing of two sides from the Prem.

That is, of course, unless we're still in it, but look where that landed us
