Pleading Wanderers related post
Just found out that there are no trains on Boxing Day. Unfortunately I don't drive and was hoping to go to the game at the 'Bok.
Is there anyone who might be anywhere near the New Mills area that I/Mrs TKIZ could cadge a lift with? Will pay petrol money, a pie and a pint before the game

Excuse my ignorance but where's New Mills ?
If its on my way I don't mind picking you up, but I can't give you a lift back as I'll be out on the beer after.
FYI, I'll be heading over from North Wales, so up the M62/M60/M61 direction

Re: Pleading Wanderers related post
It's a bit further than Stockport, about 8 miles to be as precise as I can.Annoyed Grunt wrote:Stockport?

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Ah. I'm going to have to try and work out now if Jaffka was being serious or whether it's a sarcastic remark by him relating to the perceived salubriousness of New Mills - why is life so complicated? On a Friday too.Gary the Enfield wrote:Lost Leopard Spot wrote:jaffka wrote:New Mills?
