Pleading Wanderers related post

Post by TKIZ! » Thu Dec 13, 2012 6:44 pm

Just found out that there are no trains on Boxing Day. Unfortunately I don't drive and was hoping to go to the game at the 'Bok.

Is there anyone who might be anywhere near the New Mills area that I/Mrs TKIZ could cadge a lift with? Will pay petrol money, a pie and a pint before the game
Pfffft.

Excuse my ignorance but where's New Mills ?

If its on my way I don't mind picking you up, but I can't give you a lift back as I'll be out on the beer after.

FYI, I'll be heading over from North Wales, so up the M62/M60/M61 direction

It's a bit further than Stockport, about 8 miles to be as precise as I can. :D

Cheers YtarmyYtarmy, if I can figure out a way back we might be on?

POV ?

... & there's a distressingly large number of us condemned to a life over the border it seems.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

Ah. I'm going to have to try and work out now if Jaffka was being serious or whether it's a sarcastic remark by him relating to the perceived salubriousness of New Mills - why is life so complicated? On a Friday too.
