Tonight's Football

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Villa's defence looks worse than ours!

I heard that someone (with a surname like Coyle’s first – but I’ll not say who for legalistic reasons) twittered about yesterday’s match with the immortal words “Come on Bradford, you’re on fire” …

not sure how much truth is in this.

This story is being reported, the person is Michael Owen.

In my opinion at its worst is an unfortunate use of words, some people need to get a life.

Personally, I just thought it was funny... as in amusing that he inadvertently said that. It was obvious to me that it was just something he said with no overt meaning behind it. I think the story has been generated due to the invective he received as a result - which in my own small opinion was completely unjustified.

Football is a funny game.. how Swansea are leading is beyond me

Chelsea playing to class stuff in and around the box. Campo junior (Luiz) looks so much better in midfield.

Far better in midfield. They are, but can't quite unlock the defence.....yet.

I wonder what odd you would have got before them games for a Bradford/Swansea final?

I Still think Chelsea will turn it around in Wales.. 3-1 to Chelsea for extra time and then Chelsea to win in extra time.

Possibly, but thats a tough game away at Swansea, who can keep the ball for fun.

I'd probably give more chance for Villa overturning the Bradford score.

Usually true but not against Chelsea.. Last night Swansea only managed 34% possession.

Yes but they were away at Chelsea. Where you would expect that. And they did win 2-0.

Chelsea managed a 1-1 draw at Swansea in the league in December.

Chelsea have the quality to go there and turn the result around but I'd not underestimate Swansea on their home turf. Hard to beat, usually.

Even if Chelsea had won by the odd goal last night I'd have given Swansea a chance of going through, so with a 2-0 lead, I think they've got a very good chance at least.

Your not wrong Insane.. I agree with what you saying but I think Swansea will bottle it and Chelsea are use to these high pressure games.

I would love that seeing all the clubWembley wa**ers looking really unhappy that it is not a final between two superstar filled clubs.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Insofar as there's any pressing, its wolves doing it... but this might still end 1-0. Best shot so far was a curling corner that ended up being cleared off the line...
