In my opinion at its worst is an unfortunate use of words, some people need to get a life.

Personally, I just thought it was funny... as in amusing that he inadvertently said that. It was obvious to me that it was just something he said with no overt meaning behind it. I think the story has been generated due to the invective he received as a result - which in my own small opinion was completely unjustified.

Football is a funny game.. how Swansea are leading is beyond me

Possibly, but thats a tough game away at Swansea, who can keep the ball for fun.

Chelsea managed a 1-1 draw at Swansea in the league in December.

Chelsea have the quality to go there and turn the result around but I'd not underestimate Swansea on their home turf. Hard to beat, usually.
