Pratley - did a fair amount of harrying but not his finest hour

Sordell - not sure why he got a standing ovation. Better than N'gog but not really effective.
N'gog - the highlight was his shot after good work from Eagles, that hit the roof of the South Stand, (on the way down). Fairly useless apart from that.

God awful game with quite a few having poor games by their recent high standards.

Eagles motm but Spearing was excellent once again. Medo's late appearance stopped us looking shaky. No lack of effort from the rest but lots of poor choices and delivery.

Huddersfield will be wondering how they lost that and had what seemed like a stonewall penalty turned down.

Well, that was grim. The first half was dire. Neither side created any goalscoring opportunities and I don't recall a shot on target.

The second half was much better, but that isn't saying much.

We were very lucky to get away with a win. But, a win is a win.

I really worry what would happen to us if we did manage to scramble our way back into the Premiership. On tonight's performance we'd be relegated again, no question.

Having said that, I'm glad we won, since it still keeps things interesting for the rest of the season.

Perhaps unsurprisingly disagree, they were ok breaking out occasionally with ball at feet. Part of the reason we were under so much pressure second half was that neither of them held it up well and put out a pass to a white shirt with back to goal.

Most of our attaking play went through Spearing/Eagles/Chungy. Struggling to recall either forward winning a header. N'gog was dire first half, improved a little in the second.

Didn't think N'gog had a good game for him either myself - think it showed as we struggled to link up the midfield and attack.

Sordell came out second half fired up which was better. Hopefully that assist will help remind him that working pays off.

Agree on Medo, could've maybe come on a little earlier with hindsight. Part of the reason the mid was so stretched was that no bugger was able to hold the ball for very long upfront.

I don't expect the front two to win flick ons with the frequency of Davies at his best. I do expect them to be able to bring some down from above knee height.

Ngog was very poor in the first half and not significantly better in the second. Alonso my shout for motm with Spearing and LCY also in the frame.

The first half performance was depressingly poor. The second half better - but not ever reaching good.

Huddersfield made more chances than us, including one right at the death. Their fans will be disappointed.

Medo made a difference - gave us some tenacity. Butterfield had the mobility of a trackless tank, and got a good toasting from their winger.

But we are now back in touch with the pack - the cost of throwing it away at Charlton is now glaringly obvious. Big big game on Saturday.

Overweight, slow, constantly out of position (Chung and Spearing constantly having to bail him out) dived in I don't know how many times. Mark Robins had clearly spied him as our weak link and sent their number 7 over to get round the back of him which he duly did, with consummate ease might I add, for the entire 2nd half. When you're identified as being a weak link in a back four that contains Zat Knight then you really are a whole new pan of shite.
