hmmm... not sure... mark my words - Jordan fecking Rhodes will be a name nobody hears in 3 years2 years time. Like David Nugent or that lad Blackburn signed whose name escapes me who was the next best thing from league one, who was good for 3 months then did nowt more......

according to skyspurts...
A host of clubs are battling for the signature of Nicky Bailey, Sky Sports understands.

The 29-year-old is available on a free transfer after leaving Middlesbrough at the end of the season.

The former Charlton midfielder is now on the radar of a host of Championship clubs.

Relegated duo Reading and Queens Park Rangers, along with Ipswich, Burnley, Blackburn and Bolton are all understood to be keen on Bailey.

His former club Charlton are also monitoring the situation.

For people who know what is going on, can you start a thread to benefit those of us who get easily confused, and on this new thread, that those of you who know what is going on, can you post a summary of all those who are actually going or coming, whilst leaving all the twitterstition and in the know stuff to happily fester and procreate here and elsewhere. Would, by those not in the know, and probably never will be, be much appreciated.

I'll go Rhodes or Austin and by Austin I mean Steve Austin, the Six Million Dollar man! :)
Can't be Austen. That's only £3.8m at today's exchange rate.

Agree with the 1st bit. Unsurprisingly, I disagree on your last sentence. For them, he'll be like Ian Marshall was for us in 2000/01. They get the right players around him and it could be an inspired signing for em. Hope so.

Who has been transferred in (definitely, not rumoured)?
Who has shipped out (definitely, not rumoured)?

Unofficial but reported by Nixon and the Bolton News so relatively certain to be true
