What numpty arranged Burnley at home to QPR and Blackpool against Blackburn on the same weekend! Any points I gain at the front will immediately count against my defence and vice versa.
Use the transfer option......
That's where I've been caught with my pants down. I'm right out of available transfers until next month. That'll teach me, in future, to look at the month's fixtures before I do the transfers.

On the bright side there are a few magic scores that can still give me a reasonable chance: Burnley 0v6 QPR (Austin 2, 5, 45+1, 55, 57, 90+5) for example :D
 . See never use your transfers unless you have to.
You can take that smirk off your face straightaway young Daniel. No matter what the fixtures would have been, a backline of Barnsley defenders ain't going to be helping you whether you've got none or thirty transfers left :P

Jesus there must of been a cock up somewhere in the fixtures, why are all 3 Yorkshire derbies happening on the same day.

To keep the disruption and rioting to a minimum would be my guess.

How come my QPR defenders got 7 points? Did QPR play a midweeker? And why did Robinson not play for Blackpool, is he injured?

Bruce had a Dan-esque week there :o

LLS, QPR drew 0-0 with Wigan in the week, was re-arranged from the weekend Wigan played the Charity Shield.

I have just realised that I have got 2 players on - points which is a bit of an achievement given there are only 12 players on - points.

Obviously we'll re-group and, you know, like I say, we'll take take the positives out of that performance, and there were many, many positives. I have every faith in this group of players but, you know, like I say, it's not every week that you come up against your Whickams, your Knockaerts, your Forster-Caskeys......... ;)

I thought of tinkering because I discovered one of my defenders has been fighting (and got sent off!). Trouble is he's so cheap I can't find anyone worthwhile replacing him with, so I'll live with the ban. For now.

I think I'll wait till next month for that. The charts at the bottom show my team are making steady progress. I'll wait until they actually start failing before I ship in the eager beaver youngsters.

Latest table:
1 Irn Pru Chris Adamson 26 13 437
2 Oxford Wanderers Carl Wood 17 19 407
3 Bish Bash Bosh Athletic Bish Thebish 26 12 375
4 Charlie's Small Potatoes Bruce Rioja 32 17 372
5 Beevers and Butthead Adam L 31 9 352
6 Aussie Wanderers Derek Boardman 19 21 346
7 Matlock Wanderers Alan Green 14 13 331
8 Hill Green Jack Williams 13 14 322
9 All Batty Boys United Adolf Hilter 21 3 318
10 Atletico Farnworth Paul Curran 9 7 293
11 PSV Breightmet Annoyed Grunt 13 12 282
12 SV Torgol Nick Wright 21 2 223
13 Dans team Horwich Dan 1 2 44

As you can see Pru is comfortably leading the pack. The Bish has slipped ahead of Brucie into third (I don't know if you know that he missed the entire first week - who knows where he'd be if he hadn't).
Dan is still stuck in Redcar/Burnley.
