After a deep analysis of my team and the fixtures this weekend I am, to put not too fine a point on it, shafted. What numpty arranged Burnley at home to QPR and Blackpool against Blackburn on the same weekend! Any points I gain at the front will immediately count against my defence and vice versa.

That's where I've been caught with my pants down. I'm right out of available transfers until next month. That'll teach me, in future, to look at the month's fixtures before I do the transfers.

On the bright side there are a few magic scores that can still give me a reasonable chance: Burnley 0v6 QPR (Austin 2, 5, 45+1, 55, 57, 90+5) for example

. See never use your transfers unless you have to.

I thought of tinkering because I discovered one of my defenders has been fighting (and got sent off!). Trouble is he's so cheap I can't find anyone worthwhile replacing him with, so I'll live with the ban. For now.

As you can see Pru is comfortably leading the pack. The Bish has slipped ahead of Brucie into third (I don't know if you know that he missed the entire first week - who knows where he'd be if he hadn't).
Dan is still stuck in Redcar/Burnley.
