Day before the game and I am actually looking forward to it, I hate it when I start getting hopeful as its the hop that kills you.

Anyway, seems like our away form has picked up, due to improved defensive performances and hitting teams on the break. It requires a different tactic at home. We have so far failed to control a game at home and this has been our downfall as well as contributing to football which is awful to watch. Hopefully, DF has learned from this and will tell the team to push up the field a bit more. It does not take a lot to change a successful away team into a good home team. IMHO, I would give Medo a more forward midfield role as he can shoot and he seems to the most comfortable player on the ball, using him as a defensive player at home is a waste. I would also stick with the 2 strikers up front, dare I say it, they actually look like making a good partnership. I would start with Hall & CYL to give us some direct play and speed which we need at home.

Finally we need the fans to give them full backing and not to be slagging off players when they make a mistake, they are human, they are playing in the Championship, they are going to make mistakes. COYWM!!!!!

Absolutely agree 99% with Norpig, except I'm not sure I'd start with Hall.. I'd continue with Danns, who takes up good positions and works hard.. As long as Baptiste can get up the pitch to offer the width, I'm happy for him to drift inside and be difficult to mark.

Darren Pratley will once again be missing when Bolton try to end their home woes against Millwall.

The former Swansea midfielder is absent with back spasms as the Trotters bid to win their first home game of the season, at the eighth time of asking.

Their quest to do that has been boosted by midfielder Andre Moritz's return from illness while striker Craig Davies is available for selection after a hamstring strain.

Goalkeeper Adam Bogdan (knee) remains sidelined as do the trio of knee-injury victims Joe Riley, Mark Davies and Stuart Holden, along with full-back Marc Tierney (broken foot).

I like Danns and he tracks back well for the team I just think the directness and speed of Hall can offer more than Danns in an attacking sense. Danns can come on to shore things up when we are 1-0 up with 20 mins left. I would not be disappointed with Danns starting just think we should be more positive at home from the start not when we are losing or drawing with 10 mins left. However, you do make a valid point and I think he will start with the same team as last week, just hoping he pushes one or two players up the field a bit.

I think Halls energy and pace would be best used stretching them in the second half. the couple of games he's started, he's not shown the glimpses that he's shown off the bench.

I get your point, but it's always nice to have that plan B.

I also agree that we need to defend higher up the pitch, but a lot of that comes down to the bloke who'll have the armband. He needs to 1) get up himself for a change and 2) pull the centre halves with him.. Should tie a rope to them all in training

I love what I have seen of Hall, but he, typical of many wingers, doesn't always make any impact when he starts. He will grow & develop but right now maybe off the bench is the right place.

That said, I'd be comfortable either way.

This has GOT to be the start of having opponents worry about us rather than us them (mind you that should have applied against Yeovil !)

Yep, we need to find the way to win at home. Mind you, we had a better record away than at home in 2000/01, when we went up – and in 2003/04, when we finished 8th.
