I would disagree with you on that. We had real ones as kids, they were ok. The fake one we have looks far better than any real one I've had....just a personal thing..

Ah well, the gaffer doesn't like it one bit - thinks that fake trees are shit and that we should have a real one. Lines about the tossers in HR once again imposing their shite on us without any consultation whatsoever abound. ;)
You need a proper HR team Bruce.

(One that tells people to fck off rather than 'feels their pain' and isn't filled with pimped up, orange skinned, tree-huggers ... real or false).
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

But deep down you know they are fake, they aren't real. Doesn't that irritate you? It does me! Maybe I'm easily irritated!

You mean you'd rather have a real-live dead tree for decoration than an imitation dead tree for the same thing?

Hmm. Much to my chagrin, the two houses facing mine have BOTH put exterior Christmas lights up over the weekend. Thankfully it's dark when I get home so I have the blinds shut!
They're all wierdo's round your way. Wouldn't catch me with my outside lights up this early in the year! 8)

When I arrived home, Owd Dorris from next door was out. She asked, looking at the lights over the road "And when are you putting your tree up, Bruce?" She was amused by my reply of "Sometime near Christmas", bless her. :D

I have an awesome playmobil nativity set that I (Cough... the kids...) love playing with. Here are some slightly less awesome ones. I know Bish collects nativity's, would you like one of these for your pressie this year?!

That thread about nativity sets needs to be refreshed, it was fun.
