I did wonder when you said Olive Press, but the last time I walked past, there were workmen inside. I assumed that someone else had opened it as summat else. Wish i'd said something now. It shut 2-3 years ago, maybe longer. In answer to your second question. No.
Where did you end up?

Otherwise, I believe Manchester has a couple.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Can't think of a single decent restaurant in the town centre that you could have gone to otherwise though, Clappers. Really want to give that Persian place over by the Dole Office a run out but I don't know if they do a lunch.

Cheers, Bobo. Much obliged. So indeed, there isn't a single decent restaurant in Bolton town centre for lunch.bobo the clown wrote:Not open at lunchtimes in the week Bruce, I drove past a couple of weeks ago & looked.Bruce Rioja wrote:Really want to give that Persian place over by the Dole Office a run out but I don't know if they do a lunch.

One on Great Moor Street did, but they've reopened on Bradshawgate in a much cleaner and brighter looking unit. Went t'other week. It was ok. It's between Great Moor Street and Nelson Square.William the White wrote:Now closed, surely?LeverEnd wrote:Rice and three on Great Moor Street, simple cafeteria food but great value.

Closed yonks ago. Reopened as an Italian 'Prosecco' for a couple of years, now shut.General Mannerheim wrote:what happened to Tiggi's!?
It's called Downtown now, I think. Was supposed to be a steakhouse. They seemed to get planning permission to open as a bar initially, but the restaurant never appeared. AFAIK.
